Trike Bike Warranty Statement
At Trike Bike Australia we stand behind every adult tricycle and electric tricycle we sell. Since 2007 we have specialised exclusively in adult tricycles and provide genuine spare parts, technical support and warranty assistance throughout Australia. This page explains your warranty coverage, Australian Consumer Law rights and how to make a warranty claim quickly and efficiently.
Trike Bike products carry a full 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects and faults for residential use and a 3 month warranty for commercial use.
Warranty is limited to the original owner only and covers the original component parts of each new Trike Bike for defects in material and workmanship only.
The warranty does not cover incorrect assembly or damages cause by misuse.
This warranty applies only to Trikes purchased new from an authorised Trike Bike dealer and where the assembly has been completed in compliance with our supplied instructions.
Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy for a Trike Bike warranty claim is limited to the replacement of the defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Trike Bike.
In no event shall Trike Bike be responsible for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other theory whatsoever.

Trike Bike Warranty FAQ
How long is the frame warranty?
Frame warranty periods vary depending on the specific Trike Bike model. Most Trike Bike adult tricycles include a structural frame warranty, provided the tricycle has been used for normal personal riding, correctly assembled, properly maintained and not overloaded, modified or misused. Please refer to the individual product warranty details or contact Trike Bike Australia for model-specific warranty coverage.
How long is the battery warranty?
Battery warranty periods vary by model and battery type. Electric tricycle batteries are covered against manufacturing defects, but battery performance will naturally reduce over time with age, use, charging habits and storage conditions. Damage caused by misuse, incorrect charging, water ingress, physical impact, unauthorised modification or neglect is not covered under warranty.
How long is the motor warranty?
Motor warranty periods vary between models and suppliers. Electric tricycle motors are generally covered against manufacturing faults when used under normal riding conditions and within the legal speed and power limits for the product. Damage caused by overloading, water damage, misuse, unauthorised modification or incorrect installation is not covered.
What documents are required for a warranty claim?
To assess a warranty claim, Trike Bike Australia may require your original proof of purchase, order number, photos or video showing the issue, the product serial number if applicable, and a clear description of the fault. In some cases, the product or part may need to be returned for inspection before a warranty decision can be made.
Does the warranty transfer to a new owner?
Trike Bike Australia warranties generally apply to the original purchaser and may not automatically transfer to a second owner. If you have purchased a second-hand Trike Bike, please contact us with the original purchase details and product information so we can advise what support or replacement parts may be available.
What happens if I assemble my tricycle myself?
Self-assembly is possible on many Trike Bike models, but the tricycle must be assembled correctly, adjusted properly and checked before riding. Damage, faults or safety issues caused by incorrect assembly, poor adjustment, loose fasteners, incorrect wiring, incorrect brake setup or failure to follow the supplied instructions may not be covered under warranty. If you are unsure, we strongly recommend using a qualified bicycle mechanic or approved assembly specialist.
Does Australian Consumer Law still apply after the manufacturer’s warranty expires?
Yes. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law may still apply even after a manufacturer’s warranty period has ended. Manufacturer warranties are provided in addition to your legal rights and do not replace them. If you believe a product has failed in a way that may be covered under Australian Consumer Law, contact Trike Bike Australia with your proof of purchase and details of the issue.
How long do warranty claims usually take?
Warranty claim times vary depending on the issue, the information provided and whether parts need to be inspected, tested or replaced. Simple claims may be resolved quickly once photos, videos and purchase details are supplied. More complex claims, especially involving batteries, motors or electrical systems, may take longer if testing or supplier assessment is required.
Can replacement parts be shipped anywhere in Australia?
Yes. Trike Bike Australia can ship many genuine replacement parts throughout Australia. Availability depends on the model, part type and current stock levels. Because adult tricycles can vary significantly between brands, our genuine spare parts are designed for Trike Bike supplied models only and may not fit tricycles from other manufacturers.
