- Well, it’s pretty easy if you have access to a multimeter, simply insert the multimeter probes in the base of the battery making sure to keep the polarity correct and using the DC setting on the multimeter simply read the voltage, compare this to the graph and you will see exactly how much battery capacity is left at any time.
